Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Lancaster County, about 11 percent of those under 18 are living below the poverty line, and in Berks County, it's over 14 percent.

In volatile economic times, many individuals, single-parent families, and households with limited assets and income are forced to make difficult decisions each month, like whether to pay rent or put food on the table.

Now, you can join HOME International, Inc. in getting clothing and practical household needs into the hands of those struggling financially. Through the Welcome Home initiative, we're partnering with other local organizations to assist with the social, emotional, spiritual, housing, and practical needs.

WHAT WE DO

HOME International, Inc. receives donations of clothing and other home goods from the community at our thrift store. The retail shop is open to the public, but we've made it possible for individuals who are struggling financially to shop for the things they need at no cost to them.

Every time you contribute financially, donate home goods, serve, or shop at Welcome Home Thrift & More, you make this possible.

Homes of Hope

"HOME International through Welcome Home gave Doug a 'hand up,' making a way for him to leave our program with confidence in his ability to provide a stable home for his three girls. This is the first home Doug has ever had on his own!"
